My Thoughts

Redemption is my favorite book so far in the Revelation Series by Randi Cooley Wilson. I loved every single aspect of it: the romance, the action, and the new twists.

Eve continued to grow on me in this novel. I really liked her courage and character growth. She is far from the naive girl I met in Revelation. She is so sweet and spunky. Plus, her sailor mouth was so fun. Her and McKenna, one of the London Clan members, fights are so hilarious. However, Eve did annoy me at times. Her immaturity and carelessness did show. Plus, there were times that she did lie on numerous occasions. That really did annoy me because come on man, the clan is trying to protect you.

Asher continues to win me over. His declarations of love and sweet actions throughout this book made me love him even more. There were times though I did want to smack him in the head. He was so protective and boar headed that I felt he was suffocating Eve. But I understood where he was coming from.

The romance between Asher and Eve is one that is close to my heart. I love how they are taking the next steps of their relationship. There is so much steam. I also love the rawness of their love for each other. Asher’s most vulnerable moments made me love this boy so much more.

The secondary characters added much more to this book. One of my favorites is Gage. Gage is such a complex character. He is sometimes good and sometimes bad. In this book, there are things revealed about him that I would have never thought about. Even other villains and clan members such as Asher’s brothers, Callan and Keegan, really spiced up the suspense. The whole war looming on made it really cool.

The world building continues to improve. There wasn’t much world building in this book. It was focused more on the biggest twists revealed. Eve’s parentage and Asher’s true purposes are revealed. Some of them may shock you and Randi really did her magic.

Overall, this series continues to get better. I have no doubt that it will be one of my favorites. I definetly recommend all PNR lovers to grab this series immediately!
