My Thoughts

Raveling You is the second installment of the Unraveling You Series. It is a great continuation. After the cliffy in the first book, many new questions were answered.

Lyric and Ayden are becoming my favorite couple. I love how the transition from friends to lovers is happening. It is gradual and over time. Also, they do hit new phases in their relationship. Things become steamier and they are pushing their boundaries. The kissing scenes *waves with a hand* are super hot. I love that Lyric lets Ayden slowly push his boundaries especially after what he has been through.

Ayden’s demons are major focus in the book. Slowly, the entire story of his past is being revealed. There are more and more horrifying facts. Kidnapping, rape, and so much more. I like that Sorensen does not sugar coat its implications. The nightmares and things this poor boy faces are extremely hard on him and his reactions are totally understandable.

I also like the continuing expansion of focusing on secondary characters. We get to learn about Ayden’s siblings and why they were adopted. IN addition, the growing role of music is really awesome.  I love how music is used as a factor in healing.

Overall, this is a great second addition. I can’t wait to continue to the next book!
